Dollar General Clearance Deals

Clearance depends on the product, store and promotion. Check the exact item and current price before making a special trip.

Find official clearance offers

Dollar General’s clearance category is a useful starting point. Select your store and check fulfillment options because website availability may differ from what is on local shelves.

Check a markdown

• Compare the product size and UPC with the offer.
• Confirm whether an advertised discount applies to the marked price or another price.
• Check the promotion’s dates and exclusions.
• Ask staff to confirm the final price when signage and an app disagree.

Clearance versus penny reports

A regular clearance markdown is different from an unofficial penny-item report. Do not assume a clearance item will fall to one cent, or that every store follows the same markdown schedule.
